Rooms are medium in size, but do vary slightly as this is an old building. Rooms are in good condition and the furnishings are modern, functional and comfortable. The bathrooms are clean, modern and bright. The hotel has a traditional nicely decorated dining room where breakfast is served. Although the hotel itself has a long history, dating back over 100 years, the actual building was closed in 1976 and totally restored, and reopened in 1985. It now has a modern exterior and is situated on a busy downtown street. The lobby is medium-sized and fairly dark with dark brown furniture, several seating areas and a cosy bar. A good centrally located hotel with excellent rooms. The River Danube is within walking distance as is the famous pedestrian Vaci St. with its shops, bars and restaurants. (07.08 AHJ)

The hotel is located right in the heart of the capital, on the busy Pest side of the city, close to the river Danube, the business and commercial district, as well as the town's unique nightlife. It is situated only 2 kilometers from the main railway station and a 30 minutes drive from the airport.
