Eurohostel Glasgow Hotel

Stayed at the Eurohostel for two nights on the weekend of 19th and 20th Feb. I live in Orkney and was down for the football. I always stay in the Euro because of its excellent service and the staff always make you feel very welcome. This time was no different. We even had the fire alarms go off but they handled the situation very well and made us feel safe. I will be back.

The hotel is close by to the Central Train Station, a little rough around the edges, but none-the-less, comfortable and functional. Avoid the internet terminals @ £1.00 per 20 mins and no printing facilites, not ideal. You can easily find a cheaper internet facility in the town if needed. Be warned if your room is on the front of the buillding, as the road outside can become extremely noisy with traffic till the early hours of the mornning. Taking all the above into account, it served my purposes well for a cheap, practical yet functional stay if all you need is a comfy bed and a decent bathroom for a few nights, at a good price you would be hard pushed to find anything better located for access to all that Glasgow has to offer. I would certainly consider using it again.

2 minutes walk from Central Station 2 minutes walk from Argyle Street\Buchanan street shoppnig districts. Pubs and clubs galore in the immediate vacinity Cheap and cheerful, basic accomodation at a decent rate. I've stayed twice, will do again. Only things against it: 1: Housekeeping, go away until I check out!!!! Bangin on my door @ 8am, smacking offence! 2: Late Bar - Great! One Bar person on duty with a full house on both occasions - ridiculous!

I was down in Glasgow for the Celtic v Barcelona match and stayed at the Euro.It is within walking distance of Celtic Park and the shops etc.The staff are very helpfull and the bar is one of the best.The room was spot on and nice and clean + we had TV.I stay here on all my trips to Glasgow and recomended it to my friends who also use the Euro Hostel.Looking forward to my next trip.As Arnie would say I'LL BE BACK.
