Customer Reviews for Express By Holiday Inn London City Hotel
Our Customer stayed here in May 2011
I was in London for a relaxing weekend, and found the hotel to be very noisy. There was construction work going on, even on a Saturday morning which I found very dissapointing. Times when continious noise is happening, all guests should get major refunds or at least have known prior to bookin that a sleep in was not possible.
The hotel is in a good location and just 2 minutes from Old street Tube station, and is a €7 taxi journey from Liverpool Street Tube Station which connects to Stansted Airport.
The room and bathroom was small but clean. The food at breakfast was average at best, with the staff less than happy looking!
I visit London several times per year but will not use this hotel again, and I would recommend all pending guests to confirm if the construction has been completed or not before you book in.
