Imagine our surprise that on arrival the hotel was closed! However a note on the door said to go next door to the regular Holiday Inn, and we would be upgraded to a room there. Nice hotel, small weird shaped room. Window would not close fully, and at -5C outside, room would not warm up. Management/engineering came quickly to fix the window issue. Floor in bathroom was like ice, but it had a nice towell warmer. Breakfast was outstanding! Fantastic location in Theatre district and near main bus station - wonderful since we didn't have a car. Staff was very helpful. Free wifi worked well, too. We asked for and received late checkout -- but the room key stopped working 30 minutes before the regular checkout -- and elevators worked by means of room key so we could not leave until help arrived. Not a good system. Desk clerk was supposed to update key but only wrote late checkout into the book. More training?
