We enjoyed our third stay at Woodlands House. The people are very friendly and the rooms are cosy and comfortable. The beds are the best we have ever slept in! Breakfast at Woodlands is fantastic and dinner at Timmy Macs a big succes.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We were there for an event. The BBQ went well and the food was great. Our room was about 3 minutes away, making it ideal to go back to for a bit of peace. You couldn't fault the room in any way, being clean and tidy with the usual comforts, the way a 4 star hotel room should be. Staff very friendly, all in all, a very relaxing and enjoyable stay !

Our stay was exactly what we expected. Comfortable, large rooms with cable television, en-suite jacuzzi bath, tea-maker, trouser press. Negatives There was a Christmas party on that night so it was noisy and busy. We were woken at 3am for a short time due to revellers going back to their bedrooms. More annoyingly, there was a pipe (or similar) constantly clicking throughout the first night. This was just unlucky. Other rooms in this vast hotel do not have the sam problem. Avoid room 411 if possible. Positives Huge, clean rooms. Excellent leisure facilites, large self-service breakfast. Excellent food in the bistro on our arrival (extra cost obviously) Summary Perfect for reasonably priced accomodation with a four star hotel feel. Don't be too surprised if there is a function on that may impede slightly on your relaxation. We were at a wedding in Adare, so it was perfect for our requirements.

We stayed here for a wedding and it was money well spent.The bar there is very modern and comfortable with a seating lounge in the foyer. The dinging room was made up beautifully and would reccommend this hotel for any wedding. The staff are polite & helpful, the service and food were excellent. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, there wasn't any lift but the hotel had wheelchair access to downstairs bedrooms. It is about 1km away from the town of Adare so is a bit quiet but relaxing. Very enjoyable stay.
