The hotel is attractively furnished in a modern style. The room we stayed in was really nice, again furbished in a modern style; it was confortable and so were the beds, we liked the flat screen TV on the wall. We had room service and the food was good, however we felt the charge of €5 per person was ridiculous, we don't mind paying a charge for the food to be delivered but we do not agree with charging per person - we stay in 5* hotels a lot and we never had that before. The breakfast on offer was very good however we had a very bad experience on the day we stayed that kind of tainted out opinion of this hotel. We came down 15 minutes before the 10.30 breakfast end time and none of the empty tables had been cleared, we even had to ask the waiters twice for one to be cleared for us. Then once 10.30 struck the staff pulled a big metal shutter in front of the counter where the buffet was located so we could not get anything else, not even a glass of juice. We thought it was eccessively zealous of them, we didn't expect food to be replenished but like any other 5* hotel we expected to be given time to help ourselves and finish up, after all there were plenty of tables left to be cleared that they could have busied themselves with first! We went to reception to ask for the manager, to complain, and we were told that he was not around and that other people had already complained! Apart from that, which can be easily fixed, had there been a manager on the floor that day, we liked the hotel and would stay again.
