An excellent hotel in an excellent location, absolutely superb. They say that in Paris, location is everything, well this could not have been better. Ideally situated between the Louvre ( about 200 yards away ) and The Opera, this was the ideal place to stay when visiting Paris. The Metro station, Pyramides, is also only 200 yards away with easy access to all areas. Between the hotel and the Louvre is a small square, full of local cafes and La Comedie Francaise, one of the main theatres. You could spend hours watching Parisien life go by from any one of these cafes. The hotel itself was very chic and romantic and excellent quality throughout. The staff were always very helpful and assisted whenever they could. Breakfasts were typically Parisien, coffee, baguettes, ham and cheese, yogurts, croissants and other other pastries, the ideal way to start the day. I could not recommend this hotel highly enough and i thank Roomex for getting us a great deal as usual, it all helped to make the perfect break.
