Customer Reviews for Gallery Hotel Barcelona
We found this hotel to be ok, our room was spacious and facilities were great. The only problem we had was the fact that they gave us two single beds. We asked the girl on reception to replace it with a double if possible and she said yes, but the next day when we go back to our room we realised that it was still two single beds but with double size bed sheets on it. We asked again if we could get a room with a double bed and she said there was none available. We also read on the roomex website that we would get a free bottle of Spanish wine on arrival but when we said this to the girl on reception she said that she knew nothing about this so we had to go onto the Roomex website and show her. She said that she would organise something and when we got back to our room later on that day there was a small 187ml bottle. We weren't too happy about this as we assumed that we would get a larger bottle to cater for two people. We were also shocked to notice that our check out date was wrong and when we asked reception about this they said they needed to look into it as according to their system we had only booked in for 4 nights and not 5, even though our confirmation had 5 nights on it. Other than that the hotel was fine. The restaurant is very expensive and neither of us liked the food, but the location is very central and there is a metro station less than 1 minute from the hotel that will bring you down to Las Ramblas in a matter of minutes.
