The Alia Hotel is definitely an airport hotel and doesn't offer much more than a room and a restaurant. There is a small pool which would keep children happy. I imagine most people only stay 1 night. Check-in, check-out and food was ok. The beds are very small and anyone more than 1.60m in height will be uncomfortable. The air-con is not very good (Amman is very hot in summer), and the bathrooms are basic.

The hotel was clean, comfortable , efficient and very handy to the airport. The shuttle bus ( free of charge) was a great help,for 2 women on their own, to the terminal for departure. We did not have time for breakfast. Entrance foyer was large and impressive for a 3 star hotel. The bed room twin was small but not tiny.
