Our Customer stayed here in April 2011
We stayed in Grand Hotel Giancolo for 3 nights. The hotel is located on a hill but was only a short walk to the Trastevre area. Area is in an excellent location for the Vatican. Staff were a bit hit and miss(typically Roman)to begin with but warmed a bit towards the end. Room was excellent, a great size and extremely clean. Buffet breakfast was well stocked each morning and there was a good variety. Was very disappointed with the restaurant in the Hotel, wouldn't recommend it at all, very expensive but food didn't live up to the price.
