Hotel Description
All 55 bedrooms are in good condition, having undergone a refurbishment programme. The restaurant offers Mediterranean cuisine in contemporary surroundings, whilst the bar has an old world atmosphere and is small and intimate. This is a traditional hotel which was formely a 14th century coaching inn. The hotel's original exposed beams are of such historic significance that the building has been 'listed'. The lobby is small but very warm and cosy. There are a few seats and a reception desk. Recently refurbished hotel with excellent communication links to Stansted Airport, which is just 10 miles away.
