Well the hotel was clean and quite. The bad experience I encountered was when I had to ask for the room to be cleaned instead of tidied but once I asked them they did a great job. My other bad encounter was when I asked for a taxi and the hotel gave me a wrong rate (not sure whos mistake it was the hotels or the taxi agency) and I ended up paying much more than expected due to the miscommunication between both parties.

Very disappointing. The staff were unfriendly. My room was dirty and the bathroom had not been cleaned. I had to clean the toilet myself. When I complained the male receptionist said he would come and check it - no apology and then he did not turn up. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Overall the location was very good being located just around the corner from Paddington Station. However, we found the traffic noise quiet hard to cope with, even during the night. It was obvious that some guests were smoking in their rooms and maybe this could have been policed more. The smoke alarm activated at one stage and everyone had to evacuate at 8.30am in a Sunday morning. The room we stayed in was extremely small and it was an effort to walk around the double bed to get to the window. Staff were pleasant.
