very nice and clean hotel

Don't come here if you want a quiet and restful break! You get what you pay for! It is a budget hotel so the services available are minimal, but what you do get is a hotel that is right in the middle of what is happening. You cannot attempt to sleep with the windows open as noise from the Reeperbahn goes on until after 4 in the morning, also groups of 'guests'(smokers) some of whom are the worse for drink and who knows what else, who have no consideration for those trying to sleep are talking and joking in the enclosed courtyard, but if you don't need the sleep this is the place to be. That said it is clean, and the staff are very helpful and speak good English. Also if it matters to you as the hotel is made-up of 3 or 4 different buildings knocked together it is not a particularly friendly place for physically disabled people.

Hotel was clean and in a good location, shame they took away my towel on the first night and I only noticed after I had my shower!

Really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The room and entire hotel was spotless and the staff were very friendly and helpful with everything. The hotel also offer a shuttle bus to the airport free of charge which was very handy. Would recommed this hotel to anyone as it has everything you need and at a really good price. Very enjoyable stay!!

Booked 2 double rooms for 3 days. Room number one was ok, room number two had an awfull smell in the room. Staff wanted to change room to one single room with one single bed. Said no thanks. Stand the smell instead. Not nice for 3 days. Breakfast Saturday/Sunday was okay, but NOT worth 17 Euro pp. Breakfast Monday was mostly leftovers from the weekend. Hotel most likely 3 star hotel and not 4 star as told from Roomex. Will NOT stay at this hotel again.

All great. Very stylish hotel with a young (20s - 40s) trendy crowd. Not too far from city centre and well connected with a regular bus. Ample free parking. Would definitely choose this hotel again when staying in Hamburg.

This is a really nice hotel very close to the beautiful Alster Lake in Hamburg, and just a short walk from a good lively street with lots of cafes and bars. The hotel itself is nice and quiet with no noise coming in from outside. You can also walk to the hotel from the train station in about 20 minutes. The building is an old one, but very well kept, and then there is a extension with more modern rooms behind it. The room I had was very nicely designed with zebra striped theme on all the furnishings and walls. Also it had some very funky lights. It was clear a lot of thought and care had gone into the design of the room and its fittings. There was a small bathroom with a good hot shower. Breakfast was very good - a wide selection of meats and eggs and salads. And some very nice hot coffee. The staff were friendly and helpful, and this hotel makes an ideal base for exploring the city of Hamburg. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice hotel in Hamburg either for business or pleasure.
