I have mixed feelings about the Hawkell House Hotel as on my arrival I was told that they were having renovation work hence they rebooked me to- HOTEL BARCELO, Oxford. I was irritated that they did not bother to inform the same prior to arrival as I have booked a month ago and I was made to stay for more than an hour before they could sort my other Hotel. But I had a pleasant surprise as this new hotel turned out to be a 4 star and had excellent facilities. So in a way I suppose I should thank them for more than making up for their mess up.
