This beach hotel is situated close to the city centre and only a promenade from the fine sand beach, Playa de los Pocillos (20 m away). Numerous shopping venues, restaurants, bars and nightclubs are to found within 200 m of the hotel. Links to the public transport network can be found within 20 metres of the hotel.
Room Description
The comfortable rooms are fitted with an en suite bathroom facilities and a hairdryer. In addition, all rooms include a direct dial telephone, satellite TV, a radio in the TV, a minibar, air conditioning (centrally controlled depending on outside temperatures), a double bed, a hire safe and a balcony or a terrace.
Meals
Guests may choose their breakfast, lunch or dinner from individual buffets. Lunch may also be selected from a set menu or taken à la carte. In addition, the hotel caters for guests with special dietary requirements.
Sports/Entertainment
Guests have at their disposal a swimming pool with integrated section for children, a snack bar, sun loungers and parasols. Possibility of access to sauna, massages, mud and water aerobics, diving, gymnastics, archery, and an additional fee and depending on weather conditions. You can also play tennis (fees apply), table tennis, billiards, bocce, minigolf and table football (coin). Very nice clean spacious hotel across the road from the beach in a nice quiet resort. Miles of sandy beaches superb for walking. Good entertainment shows at night like Flamenco dancing, and excellent choice of food. Staff friendly. Suitable for all ages looking for a classy hotel and lots of peace and quiet. Ideal for relaxation, reading etc Sauna very small and 10 Euro to use......beautician very limited. I can definitely recommend this hotel.
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The food choice and standard of food and service was excellent. Only negative about this hotel is that it is a good 30 minute walk from the main stretch in Puerto Del Carmen. We were there with a 6 month old baby and much of the clientelle was older which was fine as we wanted a quite hotel.
We stayed for a week in the La Geria and we can't fault the experience at all. The room was excellent and the breakfast can only be described as fantastic. The breakfast catered for all types of foodies, from fresh fruit right through to cold meats and cheeses with an ample stock of champagne if you so desired. The hotel is very clean and the staff helpful at all times, the pool layout is excellent with plenty of areas for lounging around in the sun. The Hotel also has a decent Gym, sauna and massage room which we used and found very good. There are daily activities provided by the hotel such as archery and mini golf. A diving centre is also available to organise trips along the coast. The hotel is quiet and I would definitly recommend it to friends with or without family who want to be away from the main drag in Puerto Del Carmen which is about 5km walk. The lunch and bar menu were fresh and faultless.
