We really enjoyed our stay here, the location is great,5 minutes and your at city hall. There was a wide variety of food and the chef was extremely helpful for special dietary requirements. Reception staff also very helpful.this is the second time we've stated here and it won't be the last.

The room was lovely with complimentary water and chocolate bar, very clean and plush looking.
Beds comfortable.
Food in the restaurant very nice for evening meal.
Breakfast buffet only fair - not a very inviting looking buffet to be honest and poor selection.
I did find the restaurant staff a bit rushed and not very attentive, need a bit of training I would say. But other than that all was good enough and very close to the shops.

We recently had a two night stay. The Hotel is conveniently located with an arrangement for an £8 per day charge with a local car park.Although we arrived early the staff were anxious to check us in and did so within a short period. The bedroom was clean comfortable and quiet with all the facilities necessary for a short stay.We had free access to the gym and swimming pool which also had a sauna and steam room.Breakfast was excellent.
The staff were helpful and very pleasant.I would certainly recommend The Holiday Inn.
