The hotel was beautiful and clean, staff were very friendly and the food was excellent!!!

The room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was everything you wanted. We ate at night in the bar area where the food was adquate. The drink at the bar was overpriced especially the glass of wine,(priced £6.25 per glass). Staff were friendly. The shuttle bus driver on Sat morning was pleasant and courteous. Overall we had an enjoyable stay.

Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good. Bathroom is small. Hotel is a bit further from airport than I thought. For the price it is good value.

renovations were ongoing at hotel and we felt this was handled very well and did not intrude on our stay. The staff friendliness was superb and what prevents us giving a top rating was the fact we had booked a non smoking room and we felt there was a heavy smell of smoke in our rooms. My friend is asthmatic and this was not good. The rooms themselves were spotless and comfortable but the fact we particularly booked non smoking and we did not receive this was disappointing. On speaking to reception we did not get much satisfaction and were told all the non smoking were booked. There was a debate whether the smell was smoke or recent chemicals the room had been cleaned with as the chair was slightly damp after cleaning but I felt it was cigarette smoke. Food etc. was excellent and service very good.

Nice stay in this hotel whilst attending recent exhibition in the NEC. Although there were some renovations being carried out this didn't interfere with my comfort. Fantastic buffet breakfast and good evening meals in the bar area. Free shuttle to and from Train Station and NEC. Altogether a very pleasent stay. Recommended
