Full marks for check-in; it was quick and easy, my request for a quiet room - since I was travelling on business - was readily met and the fact that I arrived a little earlier than normal check-in time wasn't a problem for the pleasant young woman on Reception.
My room was spacious, comfortable and quiet. Minor quibbles were that:
* The room was a little chilly and the air con/heating unit seemed set to automatic and air con rather than heat.
* The Bath taps didn't seem to produce hot water but I managed to fill the Bath using the shower instead, so this wasn't a big deal.
Breakfast was typical of the hot-food-sitting-under-heat-lamps type.
Staff were fine. The central location is hard to beat, if travelling by train, and I would return to this hotel.

Stayed here on numerous occassions and each time has been very good. Reception staff are very efficient. Our flight gets in very early and we have been allowed early check in on each occassion. The rooms are good, very modern and clean and also free wifi which is a big bonus. Location of the hotel is great but downside is at weekends can be very noisy if you have a room facing onto main road due to hoards of people on the streets 3 / 4 am when clubs close. Would stay here again.

We had 4 rooms on different floors , 2 had been revamped and 2 that had not. The latter 2 rooms were looking a little tired but could not complain considering what we had paid.
