Holiday Inn Munich - City Centre Hotel

What one would expect from a 4 star hotel. It was just an overnight stay. What particularly impressed me was getting the S-Bahn line 8 train from Munich Airport direct to Rosenheimer Platz station, without changing, and then walking along a stretch of underground shopping mall and entering the hotel without ever having to emerge onto the street. Neat! And later I found time for a short stroll to the superb Deutsches Museum, Munich's most interesting place in my book.

Over all a very pleasant stay. The biggest negative was I was woken at 8:15 in the morning by someone wanting to clean my room and making a lot of noise outside. Breakfast plentiful and delicious and staff most helpful. I would recommend staying here

This hotel is very conveniently located in the S-bahn station at Rosenheimer Platz in Munich. The building also houses a number of shops and variety of places to eat. The hotel itself seems to be very popular with groups and was very busy during the 6 days I spent there. The room was small in relation to some hotel rooms but offered all the essential items which one requires such as a mini bar, tv, hairdryer etc. The beds were comfortable and I experienced no noise was from the busy road outside. Breakfast was adequate but nothing special. Staff were friendly and helpful. This hotel is reasonably priced in a prime location and I would definitely consider staying here again for business trips.
