Nice and clean and friendly , I will be back .
Great location for heading to the O2. Stayed for one night and it was great, rooms a little dated and bathrooms could do with being done, but for us it was used for getting ready for a concert and sleeping and we were happy with it.
The level of service was v.good and I would reccomend a stay to anyone, friendly helpful staff,I felt taken care of in your hotel, friendly staff, the meal was excellent
very clean and easy going staff
loved THE HOTEL, THE STAFF, AND ALL THE GOOD SERVICES THANK YOU
The Burlington is a great hotel in a great location. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are very nice and spotlessly clean. My only complaint was the temperature in the rooms. I didn't sleep well because of the heat..
For the money the Towers are good value, however you are just getting the basics so be prepared to pay extra for parking, wifi, etc. Hotel is a bit tired but rooms are nice and spacious with big double bed, arm chairs, desk, walk in wardrobe. It's location is excellent for me with a handy bus going to the Point/O2 from right outside the door. I had an issue at check in where despite booking the Towers I was given a room in the Inn, less expensive adjoining hotel with smaller rooms. There was no mention of switching me to the Inns and refunding me the difference. I only found out when I got to the Towers and discovered my room number didn't exist there. On returning to reception I was told the Towers was closed and that they would have to call the duty manager. A very abrupt duty manager offered me a room in Towers but offered no apology. My own feelings were that this might have been a bit underhanded and if I hand not stayed in the Towers a number of times before I might have been none the wiser. Strangely enough despite being told that the Towers were closed I passed a number of guests on the floors that night and the following morning. Breakefast was served in the Dubliner pub. Fairly average buffet breakfast. No black or white pudding which is standard in Ireland. Had to go and stand at kitchen door to try and get some coffee. Plenty of orange and apple juice. Fruit bowl was empty bar two bananas at 8.45am Check out was very quick and well organized with plenty of staff.
Was upgraded to D4 Berkeley. Room was on 7th floor = very low water pressure, shower a mere dribble and bath took 25 mins to incompletely fill. Radiator made too much noise from early in the morning, very disturbful of sleep. Bathroom fittings at end of their life, in poor condition, and bathroom stank of mould from the shower curtain I think. Room bit on the small side. Nice lobby and bar, staff very friendly and helpful, handy location for O2. Breakfast good.
I have already reccommended this hotel to a friend who is coming to the Bike Show at the RDS in May. I stayed at Bewleys Ballsbridge on 28th of January overall it was a pleasent experience, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was very spacious and clean with excellent beds and after a good nights sleep I enjoyed a good breakfast. The only issue I would have is the food in Toms Bar, while it was ok there is room for improvement.
Great location. Rooms were clean and it was good value for money. When I went to check in, they had only one room reserved for me even though I had two rooms booked. However, once the receptionist spoke to their manager another room was arranged. A great rate from Roomex for this hotel.
I stayed at the Maldron, Cardiff Lane earlier this week and found the hotel to be just perfect. Rooms were spotless. Reception staff very helpful and pleasant. Ideally situated for visit to Grand Canal Theatre or shopping trip to Dublin. Breakfast excellent. Overall a very enjoyable stay. We will be back.
This was an excellent hotel to stay in. We went to a show in the Grand Canal Theatre and it was so handy, only a few minutes walk. The room was lovely, breakfast was delicious and we also had a meal in the restaurant before the show which was beautiful - very high standard. The price was very reasonable as well - would highly recommend it.
Breakfast was ok but the temperature in the room was too hot, leaving a window open all day was the only way to ensure that the room was not too stuffy at night.
As always at the Mespil, very friendly service. This is a great hotel for a nights stay in Dublin, close to all amenities and very easy to get to. I shall be back.
Nice clean room, helpful and friendly staff, and a great location. Some noise from the bar until 1.30am, but that didn't bother us as we were on a night out anyway. But once the bar closed the room was very quiet. Lovely breakfast the next morning. And free overnight parking, so it's perfect for a one night getaway to the city.
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Myself and my friend stayed here as we were attending the show Dirty Dancing at the Grand Canal Theatre. The hotel puts on a return shuttle for €4 per person. We ate in the bar "The Gasworks" and it was enjoyable. After the show we returned to "The Gasworks" bar which was very lively and enjoyable.
Nice hotel but not if you enjoy a drink after dinner! We had a lovely time in the bar on Friday night, good atmosphere friendly and attentive staff but when we arrived on Saturday night the bar was closed for a private function. When we asked about this we were informed that the bar is often shut. Reminds me of "The pub with no beer."!Hope to go to Dublin soon again but will investigate bar facilities first! Ps. breakfast was very good especially as it was served up to 11.30am.
This is our second time staying at The Clarion Isfc for the Taste of Christmas Event in the Convention Centre. Perfect location - 2 minutes from Luas Stop & 5 minute walk to Convention Centre. As expected at a 10.30am arrival our room was not ready but bags were promptly taken for storage. 2 gentlemen in lobby area asked us our weekend plans & offered us complimentary Tickets for the event. Which is rare that customers would be offered. On return bags were in room, room was spotless even under the toilet seat which a lot of staff forget to clean. No dust, very little clutter, all facilities available. We ate in the bar that night, from waitstaff to barmen to breakfast staff- excellent, professional & friendly staff. It was a pleasure to deal with young (possibly college students) who actually understood the meaning of Good Customer Service. I'm sorry we didn't eat in Kudos restaurant as a Manager of a 5* hotel in the Midwest told me it was excellent- definitely next time Great location, friendly staff, yummy food - see you soon
