We spent a weekend at this hotel and found it located in a lovely part of the city, opposite the Grand canal yet close to the city centre. Our bedroom was bright, clean and comfortable with virtually no road noise. The breakfast buffet was very good and the staff very friendly and helpful. We would stay again.

The hotel was excellent. On arrival we had lunch and it was wonderful. The we were allowed into our room early as we were going to see a show. The receptionist Peter was very good. We were able to leave our bags when we went shopping the next day. Breakfast was great had everything we needed to start the day!

Friendly staff, very clean, breakfast was fine and excellent location. Only negative was that it was a bit pricey.

Our stay here was very good with professional staff and very clean room. About a 15 min. walk to Grafton st and shopping. We would definitely stay here again. We chose this hotel because we wanted away from all the evening noise and it was a great choice.

I had a very nice and pleasant stay. The staff was very friendly. The only slight problem that I had was finding an hairdryer in the room. It would be nice if there would be a sign in the bathroom indicatng that the hairdryer can be found in the desk drawer. It took me ages to find it. :-)

Hotel perfectly located for the purpose of our visit which was centred just off Grafton Street. Room was comfortable but picked up too much street noise at night. Reception area gave mixed messages about the availability of internet services to print down an airline boarding pass; one advice on the evening we arrived was that this was free but I refrained from printing it next morning when advised that a charge applied. Prior to this could not work the internet because clear (or any) operating instructions were not provided. Despite not having breakfast the hotel attempted to charge my wife and myself for two breakfasts we did not have, nor were booked to have. Finally, hotel is quite dated in appearance although room was quite satisfactory. Wouldn't book the hotel again for the reasons stated.

This hotel is a definite NO, if you like to sleep! The music was so loud in the room we were staying in that our drinks glasses, beds, floor and furniture actually vibrated!! Music went on until after 4am, earplugs were supplied but made no difference, my bed may have well of been in the middle of the dance floor! After 4 am the party moved out on to the street and carried on till early morning. Breakfast was awful, and we were charged 10 euro room service. I just have to add I am not against having a good night out, in fact I was in the nightclub till after 2am, but the noise level is ridiculous, it should be made absolutely clear that this hotel has absolutely no Sound proofing.

I've used many of the hotels on Roomex before but this place has got to be the worst ever. The Russell Court is to be avoided at all costs. 1) card machine wasn't working at check in - asked for a cash deposit 2) nightclub underneath - music going before 10pm (a Wednesday night), got to sleep after 2am with the noise. Only noticed the ear plugs in the bathroom in the morning (yes, earplugs in the bathroom!!) 3) rooms had a lingering odour of cigarette smoke 4) staff at breakfast not interested in Guests needs - coffee only offered as leaving Would have been expensive even if free. It's just a kip. Never again.

I can tell you here and now that i shall not be staying in the travel lodge anymore i had noting but a bad experience on my weekend away. First of all the room was freezing. secondly i paid extra for a lie in which i did not get i am fuming over this and i will definatley be seeking a discount the next time i book a hotel through ye.....

we were there for overnight stay, due to family trip. we found that the staff is helpfull and the hotel is clean and in very good location, very close to the place we are going to. we got a large family room, it was claen, neat and tidy. we couldn't fault the room in any way. just want to say that travelodge worth the money, simply the best for overnight budget travel.

Could not fault Stauntons - the staff friendly, the rooms simple but homely and clean, and the overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Really good easy to access wifi throughout the building. Location is excellent but yet the area is really quiet. Considering the prices of other accommodation providers in this area, Stauntons is fantastic value for money.

This was a beautiful guesthouse. We loved the room, breakfast and location. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. We can't wait to go back!! :)

great location. room satisfactory clean but no bottles of water provided. reception unable to provide tourist information. only tea and toast provided for breakfast.
