attended a wedding and had great weekend, food was good and staff friendly. will be back
Stayed at the Ardilaun first week of May 2012 to attend a wedding. Hotel management certainly have their act together in how to provide for a large wedding. All staff, and especially management, were very attentive and you felt that you could relax and leave matters in their hands. This was very helpful in that you were free to mingle with your guests. Banqueting room was beautifully set up and managed. All-in-all a very pleasant experience.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Salthill hotel. Great location, friendly staff, clean and comfortable bedrooms. Will definately be back!
Very friendly staff
Good hotel, with friendly and efficient check in staff. Mainly self-service breakfast apart from tea & coffee but service here a little slow. Room quality clean and good temperature (unusually with windows that open!) although some of the bed linen looking a little worn. Overall a perfectly good experience and would recommend this as a basic level hotel, very convenient to city centre at 5 minutes walking distance.
Did the job for brief stopover. Some fittings showing a little wear and tear, but otherwise good with great service from friendly staff.
Excellent service! The staff are very helpful and are well trained, they are always ready to offer assistance. The room was nice and adequate size, the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was the best I have had in quite a while! Will be staying again next year and would consider it for any visits to Galway in the meantime, although it is in Salthill and not city centre.
Nice hotel. We stayed as we were at a wedding. Dissappointed with the food at the dinner. The beef was tough and over cooked and the veg were soft and mushy inedible. Dessert was good.
Hotel was lovely, Great location for city centre. Breakfast Buffet was very good, Loads of choice, Parking very reasonable as can get reduction rate through the hotel reception
Myself and my wife love staying in Galway and this is the first occasion I stayed in Jury's Inn. We picked the hotel basically because it looked like a really good middle range hotel, with reasonable prices but with the advantage of a great location. Our experience was really good. Competent and friendly staff and a great view from our room of the Corrib. The hotel is ideally located at the bottom of Quay Street with access to the Latin quarter and to Shop Street shopping area. An added bonus was its proximity to the Claddagh and walks along the river bank which was brilliant. Another plus from my point of view was the car park attached to the hotel, with reasonable rates for hotel guests. A really enjoyable stay overall and I would recommend the hotel.
Staff friendly, nice warm atmosphere in hotel. Lovely small old fashioned establishment, rooms spacious and comfortable. Breakfast lovely. Very close to Salthill.
Clean, comfortable with friendly staff. In a good location, close to the promenade. Bus link to the city just outside. Great little pub in the hotel which plenty of locals frequent. Very near to the tennis courts and local leisure center. Had a very pleasant stay.
