Great deal, Great atmosphere, health club and super staff. This was one of the easiest and most enjoyable stays! I will return to this hotel in the near future! Thanks Roomex
This is a great hotel, staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I attended a wedding during my stay and we got exceptional value on our room rate. Would stay here again.
Was at a wedding there fab would give it five star no problem,Pity about the 3 star breakfast now it was a perfect breakfast but so basic . They should work between what they have, and the inchidoney breakfast we had lately, if they want to achieve what they have so much work put into already, might as well give go the whole hog. Also there prices are fleecing in a recession but all of Killarney are such a pity too
Very Comfortable - rooms very spacious & well presented. Staff were very helpful & courtious. Location is very good,
Dingle skellig hotel is a very nice hotel. We stayed there for a wedding and the food was fabulous. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good excellent variety from kids to adults. Overall I enjoyed my stay.
The hotel was quiet, but everything was fantastic. From the check-in and restaurant staff over morning breakfast to the room. Depsite only booking a single room, I was allocated a large airy room with a double and a single bed inside. Tea and Coffee making facilities were available; and I was able to avail of the free wi-fi for which I had excellent reception in my room. I was hoping to be able to get for a swim, but the hectic schedule didn't quite allow for it, but I had an excellent nights' sleep on what must have been the comfiest bed I have ever slept on in a hotel - hurrah! Also, not too hot or too cold in the room - another bonus! The array of choice available at breakfast was superb! I didn't got for the hot food, but there was everything on the continental breakfast area to suit every taste bud! I had a wonderful seat next to the window looking over the beautiful (albeit windblown) Dingle Bay. I would definitely stay here again (certainly out of season is good for me!). The only things I would change (and this is reaching for things really), is the bath panel in my room could do with getting changed (slight deterioration in the paint work due to water); give the shower head a bit of a descale so the spray is more even, and move the position of the shower gel dispenser to away from right underneath the shower (you can't see because you have to keep your eyes closed and then it gets washed off the flannel before you can use it!!). Minor things so overall an excellent stay, and the experience of this long standing hotel is plain to see. Thank you!
Driving in we liked what we saw. It's an olde world feeling with a contemporary feel inside. We received a very pleasant smile from the lady on reception. Our room with a view was ready at 1.20pm and we had not requested an early check in. The room was spacious, a bit dated but perfect. The food was exceptional, fresh, cooked to perfection and served professionally. All the workers were going around with smiles. That's anice thing to see. We'll be heading back definitely and with the kids this time.
Our stay was very enjoyable. The hotel and it's surroundings are superb, the staff are very friendly and the food was great.
great hotel, stayed loads of times before, perfect location, good food and great staff.
The room was nice, however we were right beside the street and the music from the street was very loud. It did finish early enough though. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. We got breakfast in the morning and it was not great. Everything was there just over done. They had secure carparking which was great. All in all an enjoyable experience.
Location very central, rooms very clean and comfortable, very good value
hotel was central, staff were very nice, room were big and we had free entry into the hotel night club!!! def stay there again!!!

Lovely hotel very friendly staff. We were attending a show next door so it was very convienient to stroll accross. We had dinner in the dining room and it was delicious and the staff were lovely and very attentive. Our Room was lovely and very quiet and peaceful so we had a good night sleep. While our stay was short we would definitely recommend it to friends and family.
Excellent stay no faults
Stayed in the Gleneagle Hotel for 1 night as I was attending the Jedward concert in the INEC with my daughter. The INEC is situated within the Gleneagle hotel which is fantastic because you don't have to worry about transport after the concert, you can either use the facilities of the hotel or else just go straight up to bed. We took the train down from Dublin and arrived at Killarney Train Station where the Gleneagle hotel have a shuttle bus waiting to transfer you to there hotel very convenient and at only €2 a head very good value. Then we checked in received a very nice double room with a wonderful scenic view I might add. Then we used the gym which didn't have anybody there to tell you how to use the equipment so that was a bit of a let down but all children over the age of 16 are allowed use this facility and if you have a used a gym before your away in a hack. We then attended the swimming pool very nice indeed, with a lifeguard watching over all the time so this certainly was an added bonus there is no extra charge for these facilities if you are a guest of the hotel and you may use the towels from your room which will be changed when your cleaner comes to the room the next morning & you must wear a swimming hat which may be purchased from the leisure centre reception if you've forgotten to take one with you. We then decided we had worked up an apetite so decided to have a nice three course meal in the Flesk restaurant which could be paid in advance at a reduced cost but when we asked at reception to do this the restaurant had been booked up by a company so we weren't allowed use same much to our horror but they said we could use the other restaurant but for us was a no go restaurant as it was not upto the same class as the Flesk so we went for a walk and found a chinese restaurant a few doors down than done the trick. We then attended the concert in the INEC beautiful venue with great views of the stage. Next morning we had a buffet breakfast no complaints there and took the shuttle bus back to the station.
Gorgeous hotel, entertainment all weekend, wouldn't have to leave hotel if u didn't want to, shop inside hotel selling minerals, papers etc and gifts. Very friendly staff, couldn't be more helpful. Rooms could do with updating but very clean. Very pleasant and enjoyable stay, will definitely return to the gleneagle.
First off the reception staff were funny, helpful and pleasant The room was lovely, clean etc. The Restaurant staff were great, helpful and cheery. The food was lovely too, all round a great stay. The hotel is very well located, there's a shopping park right next door, and it's only a few mins drive from Tralee town centre.
We were staying for one night as we were attending a wedding in Tralee. Got a lovely Kerry welcome, all staff were very friendly, especially the reception staff. The room was lovely, larger than standard hotel, very comfortable. Breakfast was pretty average, but standard for most hotels in Ireland these days. Didn't get a chance to enjoy the spa and pool facilities, but they looked lovely. I would highly recommend this hotel if visiting Tralee. Although it is modern and close to a busy road, the welcome of the staff more than make up for any shortcomings.
We couldn't fault the room at all; staff very friendly, stayed in the hotel bar for the night and enjoyed the entertainment. The only downside was the breakfast - room very cramped - tables on top of one another. Would stay there again, excellent location to everything, clean and comfortable.
The hotel was lovely and the room was clean and well presented. My only issue was on arrival the manager tried to move us to another hotel stating they were over booked. While this was quickly remedied it left a lot to be desired in terms of service.
