Lovely hotel, well situated with very pleasant staff. Room was perfect. Only one problem, which one seems to find in 90% of Irish hotels - the breakfast was AWFUL! Almost raw rashers, egg yolks hard as nails and grease all over the plate. Why can these places do so well with dinners and are so bad the next morning?!
Great hotel for the price. Comp parking in nearby car park, central location. Rooms were bright & clean with tea/coffee facilities. No complaints at all
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Breakfast was all you could eat. Room was nice and clean with a fabulous view over the beautiful River Shannon. The dinner menu, however, was not suitable for vegetarians so we ate out.
Beautiful Hotel, fantastic facilities and views of the River Shannon
Hotel is very central, good accommodation and great service.
Check out was 12 noon .... But cleaning called to the room at 10 clock , 10.30, and eleven ....found this to be abit annoying, therefor I don't think I will be staying in jury's inn again
very clean and comfortable
Overall the hotel was very clean and the room was warm. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in the Travelodge Hotel Limerick Castletroy.

We have stayed at The Strand Hotel now several times and the hotel cannot be faulted the rooms are spacious and comfortable the views are just superb from most angles of the hotel. It is only a 5 minute walk to the local shopping district bars and restaurants are all within walking distance. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Loved the room. Clean/ Airy/. Dinner was average but there was the little matter of a rugby match on so it was to be expected. LOVED the breakfast!! (one downer about breakfast, difficult to get a cup of tea! we were sat in the area off the resturant) All the staff were friendly except for the one bar lady who could have asked were we residents instead of the brusque this is your last order but maybe she had a hard day!. Overall 7/10 and will definitely stay again.
The hotel was very clean but i found the staff to not be very helpfull when i checked in they never said where breakfast is served and we had to figure it out ourselves. Their info book in the room was not great but i enjoyed my stay as hotel was close to centre of limrick and near shopping centers.
We made a brief but glorious stay in Limerick this July, to sample the sights of the city and take in the JP McManus Pro AM. Our hotel was perfectly situated on the main road to Adare, as well as Tralee, Kerry and Cork. We checked into a spacious twin room which turned out to have an extra bed to store our gear. The beds were comfortable, and almost got a hold of us before we tore ourselves away and made our way down to the bar for a quick drink before we made the 2 minute journey into the centre of Limerick. We had an early start the next day, and the ample choice at breakfast the next day gave us more than enough nourishment to traipse the fairways of Adare following the worlds best golfers. Alas, we never got to sample the gym or swimming pool, but I have a feeling that when the JP McManus Pro Am 2015 rolls around we will be booking in to an extended stay at the Patrick Punch.
Amazing service , very friendly staff
had a lovely stay, room was spotlessly clean, bed was very comfy. all staff we met were very helpful and pleasant. It was extremely good value, will definitly be staying again whenever in limerick
my family and i stayed there on a saturday night.leisure centre good, rooms good staff friendly and good breakfast.
A very nice hotel, easily accessed from the N7. Friendly greeting and helpful staff throughout our stay.
We had a room on second floor- above bar and conference facilities. Very loud music played started at 10pm which was causing floor in room to vibrate. When we called reception to ask if there was a club in hotel they said the noise was coming from function suite and would finish by 12.30am. It did not - called again and they said it would finish at 1am. Not a good place if you are looking for a nights sleep! On departure I raised the issue with manager pointing asking why we had not been informed when booking or on arrival of potential for not being able to sleep before 1am. He apologised for us being told that music would stop at 12.30am. He also commented that they normally put stag/hen guests on second floor - not much of a help to us. He told us we would be upgraded next time - I told him there would not be a next time. The room itself was fine and the breakfast was good - if staying just make sure you get a room on a higher level.
I enjoyed my stay at the Absolute Hotel. It was friendly, warm, and so clean. Showers were lovely. Food was good. I had a lovely big room overlooking the river Abbey. I enjoyed my breakfast watching the swans and ducks on the river. I would defenitely return. It is not far from the city centre. Easy to find from the Dublin road.
smelly corridors. smell of smoking in the room. having said that the staff were nice. ok for a crowd of fellas on a stag or some such trip.
i would love to give this hotel full marks but we were in a room over where the niteclub is and was very noisy even we were out for the the evening so we were not sober and could still here the music full blast and the cards for the doors don't work but the food is excellent
