Our Customer stayed here in November 2010
We stayed in a room on the 4th floor facing the main road. The noise of the traffic could be heard in the room and if you are a light sleeper I would imagine this would keep you awake all night. We stayed there at the weekend and apparently the traffic is lighter then so it must be really loud during the week. Im not a light sleeper but woke a few times to the sound of it. The hotel was great value so I probably would stay again and bring ear plugs.
We paid €70 per night for the double room. The hotel room was basic but clean and there was quite a selection for breakfast - hot food, cereals, breads, jams, juices and tea/coffee.
It is also within a short walking distance of Old street tube and Moorgate making the city centre very accessible. It is only 2 stops from London Bridge station where we got a train to gatwick. The train to gatwick was only £8.90 compared to £17 for the gatwick express.
The internet in the breakfast area is £1 for 20 mins. It was a bit slow and some websites wouldn't open properly.
The staff were very friendly and polite too.
