it's a 4 sar hotel but more like a three star. Very well situated- close to aeverything you would want to visit. Faded grandeur which has its charm, but the place could do with a bit of love. I was on the 6th floor- realllly hot, and no AC working. Breakfast was great- well, what you would expect for a 3/4 star hotel Staff were reasonably nice,

We enjoyed our stay in Paris. The hotel was very centrally located although not my idea of a 4 star hotel. The room was quite small with a very uncomfortable bed, but it was very clean and served its purpose. The bar was not as we would know it, not very inviting and very expensive. It was the same room we had breakfast in. Overall the staff were friendly and for location the hotel was good.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We were there for only two nights on a weekend break. You couldn't fault the room in any way, being clean and tidy with the usual comforts, including tea and coffee making facilities.On average the room might be on the small side, but since we spent very little time there it was perfect. After an exhausting day of walking et al.. a true haven to come back to. "Cosy". The hotel is very,very central. Beds were clean and comfortable. The hotel staff spoke English and very helpful with directions. They seem to be renovating, but we heard no noise or experiencng any inconvenience. Breakfast was buffet style and in a beautiful breakfast room, exactly as per the hotel's website.Lovely. Staff were very friendly,all in all, a very relaxing and enjoyable stay !

This was my third time staying at Hotel Duminy-Vendome, Paris and my husband's second - and we will be back! The location itself is superb, being close not only to Rue St. Honore but all other sights and places worth repeat visits in Paris. Good transport links are nearby too. However, the hotel itself is what really keeps us returning. The rooms are clean and well equipped, all the staff are extremely friendly but best of all is breakfast - both the food and the breafast area itself. Everything is of the highest quality - including Damman teas - and could easily grace the buffet in a five star hotel. In all, the whole place is excellent value for money.

The Westin Hotel is on the corner of Rue rivoli and rue castiglione. This is a perfect hotel location from which to base yourself for a short tourist stay in Paris. We walked from hotel to place concorde, up Champs Elysees to Arc de Triomphe, down Iena to Eiffel Tower and back via Dome and invalides. Long walk but very doable. Next day we walked across road to Louvre and then down to Notre Dame. The hotel is very nice, staff very friendly. First room we got was a twin and not the double we requested but they changed us to a slightly larger room with king size bed without any fuss (not sure if rooms are allocated based on older system of on-line gets worst room). As with all hotels in Paris though rooms are small, the larger one was about 15sq m. Breakfast was included and was very nice if standard fare. Only notes of caution are that Wi-Fi is not included and is very very expensive and the hotel bar is very expensive (€20 for Vodka and Coke). Lots of alternative Wi-Fi around though.
