We have stayed in the Waterford Marina Hotel in the past and we'd forgot how pleasant the position of the hotel sits. With views over the River Suir and the polite cheerful staff from the reception to the resturant and the bar. This is as near as we can get to having a home from home. Good on site parking (free) was great as Waterford is a complete pay and display city.

Great location, rooms are a good size, staff are friendly and food is lovely.

I have previously stayed in this hotel and always found it to be very pleasant. While the service in the hotel at the reception, the bar and in the function we attended was excellent as always I have to say the bedroom really left the hotel down on this occasion. When we checked in I asked for a non smoking room but was told there was none left and so we had to stay in the assigned room. All I can say is I couldn't wait to get out of the hotel the following morning as the smell in the room was so overpowering that even leaving the window open all night still could not remove the smell and odour of cigarette smoke. The worst part of it all was that even the sheets and bed clothes smelled of smoke. Not a good experience but hopefully going on previous experience this is just a blip and maybe to do with the fact that neither my wife or I are smokers.

The room was fine, and breakfast was lovely. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

Had a very enjoyable stay in the Fitzwilton Hotel at the weekend. The only fault I could find was that there were no shower caps supplied.

stayed in the tower for 2 nights the staff where friendly the room was very run down very dissapointed with the room it was the worst room i have ever stayed in. The swimming pool wasnt very clean only used it once because of that. The breakfast was cold we did have bar food the staff there where realy nice and the food was lovely. But over all i wouldnt stay in the tower again mainly because of the low standered of the room .

A clean tidy hotel staff all very plesent and helpful really great price for room only booked on day of stay.

I really enjoyed my stay at Dooleys hotel in Waterford, lovely rooms & yum breakfast for a great price. I also had dinner in the bar & it was very tastey :) I would def stay there again!

I was very happy with my stay at Dooley's, Waterford. The hotel was clean, comfortable and well staffed. It was a Saturday night so the hotel was busy but I had no problems. Breakfast was very busy but well managed. The only problems I had were other guests chatting outside my door briefly and I felt that the doors leading down to the corridor to the rooms could be fitted/aletered to close more quietly.

Granville hotel was a lovely quaint hotel . Staff were very customer serviced focus. Food was excellent. Rooms were quite nice. 2 drawbacks 1 room not ready at 2.30 pm - didn't matter to us tho in fairness. Car Parking - we had to pay for parking across the road for Sat afternoon, from 5pm to 11.000am the following morning was free - however we checked out at 11.05 and had to pay €1.80 for 10 mins parking. To me this was a huge drawback and therefore i would not rebook this hotel.

We had a lovely evening at Treacys Hotel, found the staff very helpful and friendly, had the best steak sandwich ever!!!

I didn't know anything about Travel Lodge hotels until I found you on the internet. I was looking for somewhere to stay on or near the main Waterford Cork road, and was very pleased to find you. Our rooms were just what we needed, clean, spacious with all the necessary facilities ... and the price was excellent. Good value! The staff were lovely and friendly. Just one thing: the hall near the stairs going up to the bedrooms had a strange not very clean smell. We will definitely come back again. Many thanks,
