Customer Reviews for Hyatt Regency Birmingham Hotel
Our Customer stayed here in January 2012
Hotel was very central to the city centre, with all the top shops and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The quality of the food and drink was excellent , if a little expensive. The rooms were of a good standard and very clean. The hotel had a pool and leisure centre, but were closed for our trip, due to the pllo being cleaned.

I have stayed at the Hyatt hotel on a number of occasions and I have never been disappointed. The beds are the most comfotable I have ever slept in and the breakfast is delicious. I usually choose a room high up, overlooking the canal basin, as the view in the morning is lovely, especially on a sunny day.

First time to stay here and loved it. The location is perfect, as it's at the start of Broad Street, so you're not really bothered too much by the noise and traffic on Broad Street, as after using other hotels on this street, it really does get quite loud at weekends! It is also closer to the shopping areas, which are only a short walk away. Our room was on the 18th floor, with lovely views over the canal etc. the room was really cosy, absolutely loved the beds, pillows - very comfy! Safe in the room also, iron etc. Great sized Bathroom, lovely Bath, make up mirror and the best thing about the Bathroom was the availability of nice shampoos/lotions and conditioner, which you hardly ever see in hotels. The staff were really nice, friendly and helpful. We ate there on the Saturday night, as after trying loads of places, everywhere was booked out due to the crowds in town for the Christmas Market, and although the meal was very nice, it was quite expensive, veg all priced separately which makes it far too expensive - but there is a pre-theatre deal, which is quite good value. Breakfast also was good, lots of choice and good service. All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again when in Birmingham.

We had a lovely time at the Hyatt,Birmingham.
We were there for my birthday and a concert in town and the hotel did not disappoint.
The staff were friendly and courteous and most were not at all snobby- as I had thought they might be.The room was beautiful with everything thought about-including a torch in case of an emergancy I presume.
The bed was large and comfortable with white cotton bed linen and feather pillows and duvet. The bathroom was imaculately clean.
The view from our 20th floor room was spectalcular with views of the bright lights(and christmas tree) of the city.It was a short walk to restaurants and concert venues.
If there were negatives it was that the carpark is not onsite and in the dark and rush hour it was difficult to find(to visitors not from the city) it was also quite pricy at £12 when the carpark's usual rates are £8 for 24 hours.
The reception staff also tried to charge us again for the room despite us producing our
Roomex documents when we checked in.
However, these were small irritations and easily made up for by the high standard of accomodation and service.
