The hotel guestrooms are rich, classic and sophisticated. The color palette includes forest green, burgundy and gold and the fabrics were chosen for their texture and complimentary patterns. The furniture - dresser, work desk and end tables are made from dark ash wood featuring black surface inlays. A lounge chair and ottoman accompanies one work chair. Four murals by acclaimed artist Harold Sudman depict the changing seasons of the Midwest prairie. At night, suspended theatrical lighting provides dramatic illumination. It is a high rise, modern building with a glass atrium lobby visible from the exterior. The hotel has a large, spacious atrium lobby. There are many sitting areas throughout the lobby decorated with coffee tables, modern chairs and real trees beautifully adorning these public areas. Good quality hotel in excellent location but not particularly close to public transport. Reception area is relatively small and overcrowded for a hotel of it's size and the situation isn't helped by less than intuitive self-service machines. Roomex 'voucher' caused some delay, with receptionist needing to go to back office to verify. Good range of facilities and good guality comfortable rooms. Service was friendly, if a little impersonal. Good range of on-site facilites.
