Definately would not stay at the Imperial Holiday Hotel again. We booked a room on line for two adults and specified a double bed. When we arrived we were given a room with two single beds pushed together but that turned out to be the least of our worries. The general noise in the hotel was unbearable at night. You could hear absolutely everything from the adjoining rooms as the walls were paper thin and obviously had no insulation. The floors of all the bedrooms were tiled and the furniture such as the table and chairs in each room were made of metal. All you could hear was people moving (screeching noise) the furniture around especially in the mornings when the cleaners started their rounds at 07:30am. Torture. We had to buy ear plugs in the end but you could still hear the screeching of furniture being dragged around. The bedroom door also had a huge gap at the base of it so you could clearly hear people chatting and laughing outside as they passed by late into the night and early in the morning. The room upstairs from up had someone in it who wore high heals and seemed to enjoy parading around the bedroom. Tiles and high heals make quite a racket at 7 in the morning. We couldn't wait to leave this hotel and won't be returning in future. So much for the 4 star rating - what a joke.
