Not as nice as I expected. The carpet in the room was rather dirty and the temperature in the room was about 45 degrees celsius, thank god you could open the window! Breakfast just okay. The location on the otherhand is excellent and staff friendly and helpful.

Well-appointed hotel in the antiques district of Brussels, right beside the impressive Notre Dame du Sablon church. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bedroom and bathroom clean and fresh. Comprehensive breakfast buffet with hot and cold options available. Only negatives were that we were unable to order bar food at 10 pm after a late arrival (advertised as available until 10.30 pm) and the restaurant is closed on Sundays. Plenty of bistros and restaurants within a 2-minute walk of the hotel. Grande Place a 15-minute walk away.

We (my husband & I) stayed at this hotel for one night on Friday 09 Oct, 2009. Nice hotel in a lovely location. Our room looked out over the Grand Sablon and up towards Place De Justice (one of the highest view points in Brussels I believe). It was lovely to pull open the big windows, sit and people watch. The Antique market was on (its on every Sat and Sun I believe) so there was a good buzz about the place. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to Brussels Central and probably 15 mins to Grand Place. The staff were polite. The room was big and spotless. The bed was like a double double bed and it was very comfy. Breakfast was great - good choice and everything was fresh. Have to say we were very amused, it was the first time we've ever seen a dessert option at breakfast - they had a tarte au citron, apple tart and apricot crumble out as part of the buffet :) Overall a very pleasent stay.
