Jolly St.ermins Hotel London
Hotel Description
The rooms are small, but in exceptional condition, decorated in traditional English style with floral bedspreads and cream-coloured walls. The bathrooms are also in exceptional condition. The main restaurant is very attractive with a high ceiling and clever use of pastel colours in the decoration ensuring a pleasant, airy atmosphere. It is an attractive red brick building, typical of its Edwardian era. The lobby of the hotel is medium-sized, offering ample seating. It is traditional in style with a marble floor, an impressive high ceiling, and an imposing staircase in the centre. This is a superb hotel offering the elegance and style of a bygone era combined with luxurious amenities more in keeping with a modern hotel. (06/07 RP)

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The Hotel is old and has nice feel to it. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is excellent. St James park nearby is a green retreat in the heart of the city. We had a lovely (inexpensive) meal in Colosseo a nearby Italian restaurant just ask for directions at receptions. All in all worth the extra few euro

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We were given an upgrade on arrival but the room we were given was very warm and dark. When we contacted reception they offered us a choice of two rooms and the one we selected was great. The location of the hotel is absolutely ideal and the staff were very very friendly. I would highly recommend it.

Stayed at the Jolly St. ermins mid march and it was a very pleasant experience. Room was clean and spacious with the usual facilities. Breakfast was a feast! Staff were very helpful and friendly. Great location right beside tube stop. Very comfortable bar wth a big open fire. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, and I will definitely be going back to stay there.

We spent one night at St Ermins, which was enough. The hotel needs a refurbishment. It is very dark and gloomy. It is worn looking and we think it has an affect on the staff, particlarly the brekfast staff, who looked unhappy and worn uniforms which have seen better days.

Very conveniently located beside the tube station at St. James Park. Oxford Street only a few stops away and the Train Station at Waterloo only two stops away. Very quiet hotel not for those looking for a funpacked weekend. No T.V.s in hotel bar or lobby showing sport even though was six nations weekend. However the staff are extremely helpful and friendly and were ringing local pubs in the area for guests to check to see if they were showing the matches.
