Most medium sized rooms are individually furnished partly with antique furniture of the "Jugendstil" period and beautiful fabrics. They have a warm and comfortable atmosphere and some rooms offer a great view over the river Mosel and the hills across the river. The rooms in the guesthouses (Dependancen) are even more spacious and they are of same high standard as in the main building. Guests are accommodated in either one of the Dependancen or in the main building (breakfast is served in the main building) The restaurant "Clauss-Feist" in the main building is elegantly furnished and features stained glass windows. The seats are covered with beautiful "Jugendstil" fabrics. Delicacies and the famous Moselle wines will be served there. There is also an additional hotel -bar called "Art-Nouveau-lounge" The main hotel building is beautiful with a white facade with turrets and green painted window frames and beams. The hotel was built by one of Germany's most important "Jugendstil" architects and is decorated in that style throughout. Guesthouses (Dependancen) are traditional small houses, all in slightly different styles. The reception area is small and right behind the reception desk is a beautiful stained glass window. The walls are partly covered with carved wood One of the best hotels along the river Moselle with fantastic location to explore not only the city of Traben Trarbach but also the surrounding vineyards and historic castles along the Moselle.
