'Park, Stay and Fly' - The New Travel Trend :
First we had Low Cost Airlines and the Internet, now we have new Low Cost Hotels surrounding most Airports. These have now combined to create ‘Park, Stay & Fly’ – a new travel phenomenon.
With the costs of parking at Airports still rising and the large increase in numbers of beds available at Airport Hotels, the resulting trend was almost inevitable. It is now commonplace to stay at an airport hotel the night before your flight, leave the car at the hotel for up to two weeks while you are away and take a complimentary shuttle bus from the hotel to the airport. All resulting in convenient, stress free travel and the ideal way to start your holiday!
Roomex surveyed all Dublin Airport Hotels this week and it is clear that the trend is catching on with 33% of people on average availing of Stay, Park and Fly facilities and the average parking time of between 4 and 7 days.

We hope that you continue to use Roomex Hotels. If you have any queries or suggestions on how we can improve our website or newsletter, please do not hesitate to contact us.
