The hotel was clean , well laid out , within walking distance of shops and beach , the rooms comfortable .The staff were very helpful & the food was good , altogether a very pleasant experience .

Overall I rated the hotel as satisfactory. The room was perfect, comfortable and neat. Unfortunatley there was no lift, you had to take the stairs which is fine if you have one suitcase. I had medical boxes and a machine to use for an overnight stay. The food was disappointing both for dinner in the bar and breakfast.

We had stayed in Kilkee on our honeymoon in 1972 and that was the reason we went back for our anniversary. We had a ball & the hotel was excellent.
