King George Hotel San Francisco

The King George Hotel is in a great spot; just a few blocks away from the BAET and close to several restaurants and major stores in Union Square. The hotel employees were all very helpful and friendly. I had booked a double room and upon learning the beds were twin sized beds the receptionist gladly swapped me to a queen bed single. The room was certainly "cozy" with little spare space to walk around, but I appreciated the way it was appointed and the condition of the furnature was fantastic. Bed was comfortable but the pillows were flat like pancakes. The shower was great and the bathroom small but cute: could have used a mirror large enough to see my whole face, however. The bar area was very nice, but closed at 9:00pm, a little too early if you ask me. The square was loud in the evening but that, I believe, was due to unseasonally beautiful temperature. I was very pleased with my stay at the King George Hotel, and would certainly stay at this hotel again.
