The rooms are medium in size and in good condition. They are all simply furnished but well-equipped. As in every Kyriad hotel, you will find in each room a welcome tray with little snacks and a complimentary French/ English book on your bedside table. The bathrooms are small but in good condition. The entirely renovated hotel restaurant, La Soupiere, occupies a large space on the ground floor. The dark furniture tastefully contrast with the red/orange sofas, curtains and tablecloths. The restaurant offers a buffet of starters and desserts and a variety of grilled and regional dishes. This is a traditional 2-storey white building. The lobby is small in itself, yet it opens onto the large and pleasant restaurant area. This comfortable hotel represents good value for money and is an ideal base to explore Caen and its historical sites.
