Very nice hotel. Some building work going on but did not interfere at all with our stay. Restaruant was very nice but quite expensive and the food was not hot enough. Rooms very nice with OK bathrooms but probably only 3star really. There were 2 cricket teams and 2 rugby teams in the hotel this week and the noise at 5.30 in the morning was awful. Very hard to get sleep with all the shouting. Also the rooms were very hot at night with no air conditioning. Overall the impression was positive but there were a few downpoints which need addressing.

I booked this room for my wife for the night before our wedding and although satisfactory and spotless, this room is the section of the hotel that has yet to be refurbished and is a little disappointing compared to the rest of the hotel. The honeymoon suite we stayed on the night of the wedding was amazing as is the rest of the hotel. Our wedding took place in the new extension which is fabulous, the grounds are beautiful, the staff very attentive and the food delicious! So close to Belfast yet when you're there it feels like you are out in the middle of the countryside! Can't reccommend highly enough!

Our Room was very clean as was the Hotel in general. There is a lot of building work going on and we were woken up at 8.15 am to the sound of drilling and workmen just outside our window. We complained to reception who apologised and assured us that work should not start until after 9am and that this would not happen again. We were woken at 8.30 the next morning by workmen and drilling and phoned reception again. They advised that there were no work men on site, I advised that I was standing in my window looking at the work men at their van on the building site! The staff are very friendly and professional and despite the building work I would return to this hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We were there for a wedding. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the rooms were very clean and spaceous. The leisure facilities were excellent too.

spent three superb nights at La Mon hotel, which is only 15minutes drive into the heart of Belfast, but set in the countryside. room was excellent, leisure facilities superb and food in the evening and at breakfast 1st class. highly recommended. excellent value for money compared to city centre establishments

This hotel was absolutely wonderful to stay in. We wished we had booked for more that one night. Everything from the decor to the staff was great. Roomex were the best value by far for this Hotel and we would definately want to come back to this Hotel and stay again. This is a 4 Star Hotel, but I would even put it up to a 5 Star. We didn't use the leisure facilities whilst we were there, but we had a nosey and they looked really good. We had the carvery in the Hotel which was lovely, so much choice and an excellent standard of food. Our room was lovely, very clean and fresh. The shower was fab, so powerful it was lovely and refreshing. We even had a balcony which we could sit out on, but with it being the beginning of March, the weather was a bit chilly! Would definately recommend this hotel and would love to go back and stay in it again.

Good room standard with quality beds and furnishings:excellent decor and most comfortable for a good nights rest. very organised and food good and breakfast also. very pleased overall 9/10
