Exterior

It is a traditional sandstone building and looks very imposing overlooking the large square in front of the station.

General

Overall, this is a hotel which has been renovated sympathetically to recall the grandeur of the early twentieth century. It comes highly recommended. 1006 hm

Lobby

The hotel lobby is large and decorated with stylish furnishings and matching decor in the style of turn of the century with black and gold tiles in the style of the artist Klimt and has Chesterfield furniture.

Location

The hotel is located at the gates of the medieval old city in the heart of Nuremberg within walking distance of the pedestrain area and opposite the train station.

Restaurant

The restaurant is very elegant with pillars throughout and an impressive tiled floor. The centrepiece of the ceiling is a large area of stained glass in a design, which is a modern interpretation of art deco. The bar is also in art deco style with green marble table tops.

Rooms

The bedrooms are large and furnished to a high standard with art deco style furniture. Both they and their bathrooms are in exceptional condition.
