For my husband and I it was the first trip to Italy. We did some research and chose this hotel based on trip advisor reviews/location/pricepoint. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We stayed there at 14 July 2007 for 4 nights.
The pro's:
-Great location. The Piazza Navona, Pantheon and Campo di Fiori are nearby. We walked to the Vatican, the colloseum.. everywhere!!! There are a lot of restaurants in the neighbourhood.
-staff were very nice and helpful. There were free drinks at our arrival. Everytime we walked by the front desk, there was a friendly word. We ordered a taxi through the hotel to bring us to the airport, which we recommend to do. The costs are almost the same as the train.
-the hotel provided little things that made our stay better. A pair of slippers, shampoos.. etc.
-The rooms are very clean and tidy.
Con's:
-NO LIFT, the hotel is located on the 2e floor. You have to climb up 4 staircases.
- There is no breakfast in the hotel. You have to go to a cafe around the corner. The only chose you have is one croissant or sandwich and one coffee (or cappuccino: according to my husband a very good one) or jus d'orange.
We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and will highly reccommend it to everyone !!
