Rooms are medium in size and well maintained. Each has a balcony, television, fridge, telephone, and air conditioning. Bathrooms are fairly small but tiled and clean. The restaurant is just off the reception with the hotel bar just beyond. A hot buffet style meal is served. The bar has both indoor and outdoor seating. This is a two strorey traditional Greek style building with balconies on each floor. It has a swimming pool for guests at the back. The lobby is fairly small. This is a good quality property for it's category offering good value and excellent service (EP 11/08)
Area Information
This property is based in the centre of the lively Gouvia with a great selection of bars, restaurants, shopping and tavernas and it's door step. The beach is also just a short walk away. Corfu town and the airport are a 15-20 minute drive or taxi ride south of Gouvia.

We really enjoyed our stay at Louvre. My friend and I, both in our 20s where out every night, but the cleaning staff waited for us to wake up even though it seemed like they were finished with all the other onces hours before we woke up every day. Even though most people living there came with their family or their spouse, the hotel was very satisfactory for us as well. The personell were all very patient and nice, even though one or two didn't speak very good english. If I'm going back to Gouvia, I'll definitely look up Louvre again!
