Malmaison Hotel Liverpool Reviews

Situated beside the Crowne Plaza next to the Liver building the location is very good. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the city centre and Liverpool One. I don't know why they named the hotel group Malmaison because it is anything but the French translation! The staff are very helpful and relaxed, they really suit the hotel ambience. The bedrooms are big and well laid out with a comfortable bed. The shower and Bath are excellent and the place is just nice and quiet. I'm not sure about the bar though and downstairs in general. It's a bit to dark for me. The dining area is lovely and the breakfast menu is definitely different - you get served rather than a buffet of sausages etc and can choose from a rather nice selection (as well as your cereals and breads). Overall a very enjoyable stay at the Mal Liverpool and I would definitely recommend it and will be back. A tip though, if you are getting a taxi ask to be let out at the Crowne Plaza otherwise the taxi goes on a bit of a drive to get you to the door of the Mal.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Staff pleasant and decor exquisite. Our rooms were clean and really well presented. We had Breakfast both mornings and the food was really good. Overall we loved the hotel and will return in the future. I'd recommend a stay here to anyone visiting Liverpool.

Fabulous hotel, really central and very clean. Staff are very helpful. Would definately recommend this hotel, Decor is fab, reception very warm and welcoming. Highly Recommended!
