Mercer Court Hotel Dublin
Hotel Description
The hotel is only open for the summer months, as for most of the year the building serves as the Hall of Residence for Dublin's Royal College of Surgeons. The rooms are therefore basic, but comfortable. All rooms are en-suite, with direct-dial telephone, colour TV and linen. Breakfast is served in the Millan House, whilst guests can use the restaurant opposite in the sister hotel - the Mercer - for lunch and evening meals. The hotel is a street-facing, imposing Victorian building. The reception desk is in the corridor, at the front entrance to the building. It is small and unassuming. Comfortable, affordable rooms, in an ideal location throughout the summer.

Does what it says on tin - for student accommodation & price it's fine.

The hotel is very well located in the city centre. Although if you sleep on the street side you will experience some noise from the busy street.
The rooms are basic but ok. The beds are good. You get clean towels but bring your own soap and shampoo!
The breakfast is very basic. There is no fruit and the coffee isn’t the best in town.
