The Mercer was in exactly the right location for a weekend in Dublin. Close to Stephens Green Shopping Centre & Grafton Street but also close to the Luas so we could easily catch that to go to Dundrum Town Centre.
It was also right in the heart of the city to go to bars & niteclubs - but far enough away to be comepletely quiet in our room.
The room itself was clean and well maintained. Both a stereo and flat screen TV. Tea & coffee was supplied as well as miniatures in the bathroom.
The staff were friendly and very helpful - even provided a corkscrew for us!
Will definitely stay there again.

Absolutely perfect location allowing you to enjoy all around Grafton St area for shopping, eating, drinking and dancing, Harcourt St very handy also. So close that you can explore all day, hop back and change for the evening without any trouble. Rooms were not too large but perfectly adequate and nicely decorated. Bathrooms large and spotless. Nice small lounge and helpful staff also. Would recommend on a nice morning just getting a coffee and danish from a nearby coffee shop and enjoying in the scenic St Stephens Green park, so close you can almost fall there!! Location location location!

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. We enjoyed being in a location right in the centre of town, close to the shops, restaurants and bars. (just around the corner)
The hotel was nicely furnished and above all the beds were more comfortable than a lot of hotels I've visited. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed having a nice irish breakfast in a comfortable setting. All in all very good value for money and we will definitely be making a return visit.

Our room was warm, clean and tidy, the staff were very helpful and friendly. We were there for a concert in the national concert hall which is about ten minutes easy walk away. We really enjoyed our stay and will definately be going back there again.

I would not recommend this hotel as our room was filthy - it stank of stale smoke and the bathroom had not been cleaned - especially the toilet! It was a disgrace. Also the bedding was not very clean either. I had breakfast brought to the room which arrived without the correct cutlery! I had one teaspoon to stir my cup of tea and then use it to eat my boiled egg too!!!
