This is a very nice hotel in an excellent location. It is just opposite the main train station, so very handy if arriving by train (or from the airport as the "BLQ Aerobus" has its stop at the train station forecourt). The staff were very friendly and I was checked in very quickly. I had a nice room on the 2nd floor, and it included a small fridge with free mineral water bottles, and a good sized LCD television with loads of stations. The bathroom was quite large too and had a full sized bath (which also was the shower). At night the room was nice and quiet with no noise coming in from other rooms or from the road outside. I slept very well on boh nights I spent there. Breakfast was very nice, and included lots of cakes and croissants and pastries. As well they have a machine for making capachino coffees which were really good. From the hotel the main old part of the city is about a 15 minute stroll down Via Independeza. There are also lots of small cafes and bars around the hotel area and plenty of shops for everything too. The hotel seemed to cater for a lot of business customers and the reception area was very nicely organised with sofas and a small bar in one part of it. I would definetly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a good quality place from which to visit the beautiful city of Bologna, or to use the trains to get to and from some of the other cities in the region. I hope to go back and stay there again on my next visit.
