Our stay at the Mecure was passable. Check-in was effiecient. However one of our rooms, which were supposed to be non-smoking stank of smoke. The rooms are a nice size and the beds were very comfortable. Unfortunately the showers left a lot to be desired. The temperature flucuated from freezing cold to scalding hot, during your shower. The shower head would not stay up meaning you had to hold it up to have a shower and it pointed to the right, resulting in the floor getting soaked. The hotel doesnt have a restaurant only a breakfast room. The breakfast was fine. However on the day we were due to check out, we went for a walk before checkout and found that the cards had stopped working when we tried to get back into the rooms to get our cases and when we spoke to the receptionist she was slightly rude about it. All in all, I would go back simply because the location cant be beaten, however that is the only reason i would.

we had 3 double (non-smoking)rooms, the sink in 1 of the bathrooms was very badly cracked, another of them absolutley stank of stale cigarette smoke, the 3rd room was fine. We were disappointed that there were no tea making facilities in the rooms. The sauna was a let down. On the 1st morning the breakfast was lovely on the 2nd not so good, and on the last morning it was terrible. As for the lounge bar, enough said. Overall the rooms were clean and warm, but for what it cost of the three nights stay and a 4 star hotel, it was a terrible disappointment.
