The Milford Plaza is a very well situated hotel for exploring Manhattan because it is very close to Times Square, Rockafeller Centre, Subway etc. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, the staff were very friendly and helpful and we felt very safe there. The hotel is undergoing major renovation but you would not realise it is happening because it is being done with the minimum of disruption to guests.The room was very clean and very well looked after by the housekeeping staff, it had everything and had been recently decorated.

I stayed in this hotel for five nights and i must say i really enjoyed it. The location - less than a five minute walk from Times Square, and surrounded by bars, restaurants and theatres - was excellent. And for a hotel located so close to Times Square, it offers excellent value for money. The rooms, even if the decor was a little outdated, were clean and well-maintained. Our twin room had the benefit of having two double beds, and although it made the room seem a little cramped, it was worth it for the comfort that we enjoyed. The room had cable TV, phone, internet access, safe and an ensuite bathroom. I found the staff at the hotel to be efficient, helpful and friendly and the security staff seemed to be on the ball. Although the hotel was undergoing renovation during our visit to New York, it did not interfere or affect us in anyway. Overall I had a very pleasant stay... a big thumps up for the Milford Plaza.

My daughter, sister-in-law and I stayed in the Milford Plaza for 4 nights. Check in took us about 3 minutes and the staff were very friendly. We had a room with 2 double beds, which were very comfy and had feather pillows. There was plenty of room for the 3 of us and was cleaned daily. Bathrooms were spot on, decent space and great shower. The location of the hotel is brilliant, few minutes from Times Square and just down the street is the main bus station (Port Bus Authority). I would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel to anyone and I would definitely stay there again if I visit New York. Booking with Roomex was fantastic, did it on-line and had no problems whatsoever. Barbara T.......
