Our Customer stayed here in September 2011
I stayed here for 2 nights and was very pleased with this hotel. It is in the Little Tokyo district of Los Angeles, and so many of the other guests were Japanese visitors. The hotel is about 1 mile walk from Union Station , (though with luggage I'd suggest taking a cab). There was a bit of a queue to check in, but once in the room I was very pleased to see it was a large and spacious room, and also had a coffee making machine and coffee sachets.
There was a large TV with a very good selection of channels. The room was very nicely furnished in oriental styles , and with some nice Japanese artwork on the walls.
Best of all the room was really nice and quiet at night with no noise at all coming in from outside.
There are plenty of shops and small restraunts around the hotel (mostly Japanese). And if you prefer western food / shops, then there is the Mexican / hispanic district of Olvera Street about a 15 minute walk away. Or Downtown which would be a 30 minute walk away. The Music centre / disney concert hall area is about a 15 minute walk from the hotel too.
Check out was very friendly and efficient. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would use it again the next time I am looking for somewhere in that part of LA.
