Pleasant, clean and efficient as ever, Galilei is ideal for early and late flights - firm beds, quiet rooms. Staff are always helpful. The breakfast buffet is good and even if we missed the stewed prunes this time, we were well fed and rested for the day's travel. A small point: the air-conditioning is controlled from the reception desk where you must ask for it to be adjusted. It is normally set to 28 degrees so it takes some time for the room to cool. A default setting nearer 20 degrees might be better. But we will certainly be back.

Most enjoyable stay .Excellent value . Clean comfortable room ,satisfying breakfast and the use of a very efficient courtesy bus to Pisa and the airport. Will definitely go back.

I wish I had known that the hotel had airport shuttle. we used it next morning to go to Leaning Tower.

We arrived late at night so didn't have long in the hotel. We were very pleased with every aspect of the room and a very pleasant breakfast; amd could find no fault with the hotel.

A retired couple, regular visitors to Pisa, we usually spend the first night in this modern hotel - ten times in four years. Taxi from airport takes 4 minutes. Rooms are clean and quiet. Staff are always pleasant and helpful. Breakfast is superb. And it is not expensive. Friends agree. The city centre is a brisk 30 minutes walk away but you cannot have everything!

Very near the airport - perfect if you arrive in late on a Ryanair flight. clean rooms. Bar open until 12.30. Breakfast buffet. Didnt go into Pisa as we moved straight onto Florence but I think you would need somewhere closer to the town if you plan on staying in Pisa.

Stayed here for one night on the return leg of a trip as the hotel is 5 mins car ride from the airport. The hotel and rooms are bright, modern and comfortable. Check-in and check-out were quick and hassle free. The only complaint I can make is the very slim choice when it came to food in the hotel, the main restaurant was closed so the only place to eat was the café which had a tiny menu and seemed to be very expensive - as the hotel is a bit out of town the only option was to get a taxi into town for food. Overall though, as a place to stay on the way to or from Pisa Airport, i'd recommend it based on price, service and location.

Stayed Tuesday 30th Sept and Thursday 2nd October. The problems were mainly associated with the stay on 30th Sept. No sheets on fold out bed. Given key of another room to get sheet - self service! The big TV did not work. The carpet next to bathroom was wet - shower was leaking water. We were told at reception wireless interenet was available on the ground and first floors. We had to enquire later why we were not able to log on to be told we had to get a user name and password. Why were not told this during our initial enquiry? Incidentally the female with glasses I was dealing with was so 'frosty' and made no eye contact whatsoever. A dreadful front of house personality. (The more casually dressed female with glasses was so much better). The breakfast service was dreadful - there were so many things not availalble and the tables were not fully setout for breakfast. When we returned for our second night we were being given the same room and we said NO thanks. I may have not covered all the problems but you get a flavour of what we experienced!

Awful start to a great holiday. Hotel shuttle not available for over 1 hour, and when we finally arrived at 01.30 am, we were told there was a problem with our reservation. The hotel was overbooked, and the rooms booked were unavailable for our party. After some "discussion" an adequate no. of rooms was discovered. However people arriving after us were not so lucky and were sent to other hotels. The rooms were satisfactory, and breakfast was good. Location was convenient for airport and car rental pickup, though free hotel shuttle to transfer to car pickup/ airport was unavailable the following day as it had "broken down". Overall bad experience.

We really enjoyed out stay at this hotel. It is only minutes from Pisa Airport and from the centre of Pisa. The hotel offers regular free transfers to and from the airport, I would recommend you book this in advance as there are limited places. The rooms are modern, well equipt, clean and tidy. We travelled with a young child and the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. All in all, a very relaxing and enjoyable stay !
