All 96 rooms of this hotel are medium-sized and equipped with air conditioning. The rooms are basically decorated but clean and nice. The bathrooms are medium-sized too and have hairdryers. The Nazar hotel has its own restaurant with room for 120 people. The menu varies from traditional Turkish food to some international dishes. The exterior of the hotel is a mid-20th century building, with the nice touch of classic columns around the windows. The lobby is medium-sized with some seating to rest in. A nice budget hotel in the Laleli area, a good option for location and price. (JMG 06/07)

This hotel is located in the Laleli area, just 15 minutes' walk from the historic Sultanahmet district, where the main tourist attractions are located. The Taksim area is a short taxi ride away.

We booked three double rooms for three of us. We were offered a triple room initially but on our refusal they given us three separate room (one double and two twin room - still not right but we lived with it) Shower room was very tiny; bathrooms were not cleaned daily basis except towels swapped – on complaining to the receptionist no one showed up to clean the bathrooms, TV had a broken remote control so it didn’t work. Staff was helpful but most of them couldn't speak English at all. Overall a very poor experience and would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
